Design And Research On Modular Multifunctional Baby Stroller

With the increasing age of infants and young children, their various physiological functions will constantly change. These changes have led to the need to consider more baby stroller products at the beginning of design. Although the variety of baby stroller products on the market is becoming increasingly diverse, existing products are still difficult to meet people's growing needs. The survey found that currently, on average, every household with babies is equipped with at least two or more baby strollers. However, these strollers are basically similar in functionality, resulting in a significant waste of resources due to idle strollers. The main reason for this phenomenon is that some usage needs of baby strollers are not met in daily use, leading parents to need to purchase products that can meet their usage needs again. Therefore, in order to solve this problem, we mainly focus on the design field of baby strollers and research multifunctional baby stroller products based on modular design theory. The modular design of baby strollers meets the daily travel needs of infants and young children to a certain extent, and the modular design concept can also help enterprises design new products and provide effective innovative ideas. This article first discusses the theoretical basis of modularity, summarizes and studies what modularity is, as well as the characteristics and categories of modularity. Then, it studies the design elements of baby strollers in terms of color, structure, materials, and human-machine design. By analyzing the domestic and foreign product markets, it proposes requirements for the design of modular multifunctional baby strollers. Based on this, it combines relevant knowledge of modularity, A comprehensive analysis was conducted on the division and combination of structural and functional modules of the stroller, and a multifunctional stroller based on modularization was designed. Relevant structural and renderings were drawn, and a brief explanation was provided for the design. Finally, a summary of this article was provided.
